The terms of use for Pull or Skip: what you may do with the site and its data, what it does not promise, and who owns what.
Pull or Skip is free to use and needs no account. Play it, share the results card, link to it. What you may not do is interfere with how it works for other people: no automated voting, no scripted traffic designed to move the rankings, and no attempt to get around the one-vote-per-character-per-session rule. The rankings are the only thing this site produces, and manipulating them is the only way to break it.
If you want the data in bulk, take the JSON rather than scraping the pages. It is published for exactly that reason and it is cheaper for both of us.

Character names, artwork and game titles belong to their respective owners and appear here to identify the character or game a page is about. Nothing on this site is offered as a licence to use any of it.
The aggregate results — vote counts and rates, per character and per game — are published under CC BY 4.0. Use them in an article, a video, a chart or a project of your own, commercially or otherwise, with attribution to pullorskip.com.
Two things are worth knowing before you quote a number. Characters below the vote threshold carry counts but a null rate and a null rank, and that null means “not enough data” rather than zero — the method page explains why. And the board recomputes continuously, so any figure you take is a snapshot with a timestamp attached to it.
The licence covers the vote data. It does not cover the character artwork or names, which are not ours to license.
The image produced at the end of a run is rendered in your browser and is yours to post anywhere you like, including on monetised channels. It carries the site’s wordmark, which is the only thing asked in return — please leave it on, so somebody who sees the card can find where it came from.
The card contains character artwork that belongs to its respective owner, on the same basis as the rest of the site. Sharing your own card is ordinary use; assembling the artwork out of it into something else is not something this site can grant permission for.
This is a side project. It is provided as it is, with no warranty of any kind. It may go down, lose a session, or be taken offline entirely. The rankings reflect the people who happened to vote, who are not a representative sample of any playerbase, and they are not advice about how to spend money on anything.
To the extent the law allows, nothing here creates liability for any loss arising from using the site or relying on its numbers. If you are about to make a spending decision on the strength of a percentage on a fan site, please do not.
These terms may change as the site does. There is no mailing list to notify, so the current version is always the one on this page.
